Baltimore City Public Schools will expand in-person learning options for some students in the second semester.
Baltimore City Public Schools CEO Sonja Santelises on Thursday laid out more specifics about who would be returning for in-person learning and when.
This comes as some teachers continue to push back on the district s proposal.
Santelises said her decision to bring students back to campus is not only based on academics, but also attendance.
District officials said they re concerned about the failing grades showing up on student report cards. At the same time, they re not ignoring students who are missing from school altogether.
