Laboratory for analysis of camel milk established at IUB July 21, 2021 BAHAWALPUR: The Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has established Camel Milk Analysis Laboratory at the Department of Animal Nutrition. The private sector will collaborate through this laboratory to facilitate and provide practical experience to students. Shakil Sadiq, CEO of Business Development, Etihad Group, and Dr Nauman Rauf, CEO of Dairy Heed Pakistan met Dr Zahid Kamran, Chairman Department of Animal Nutrition at his office. Dr Ali Raza Abbasi, Deputy Director Cholistan Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Punjab was also present during the meeting. The Etihad Group intends to establish a processing plant for camel milk in the near future. In this context, the collection of camel milk from Cholistan and technical support for its composition analysis at PARB Camel Milk Analysis Laboratory was discussed. China, Pakistan likely to sign framework agreement for Industrial Cooperation in 10th JCC

Daily Times July 13, 2021 China and Pakistan are expected to sign a framework agreement for Industrial Cooperation (IC) during the 10th Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPECT), scheduled to be held via video-link this month. Both countries have already signed an MOU on industrial cooperation and now in the upcoming meeting of JCC, it is likely to be taken to the next level, China Economic Net (CEN) reported on Monday. JCC is the highest decision-making body of CPEC, which is co-chaired by Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives and chairman of China’s National Development and Reforms Commission (NDRC). To implement the CPEC project, China and Pakistan have set up a ministerial-level Joint Cooperation Committee on CPEC Long Term Planning.
