Raymond James reported record financial advisor head count of 8,327, a net increase of 179 from a year ago and 94 over last quarter, according to the firm’s fiscal second quarter 2021 results.
Devin Ryan, an analyst with JMP Securities, said that was a notable increase, after the firm increased its transition packages for recruits to the employee channel. Raymond James had traditionally not been the high bidder in the recruiting wars for advisor talent, stressing instead its advisor-centric culture.

Chef Paul C. Reilly and his sister, Aileen V. Reilly, debuted Beast + Bottle at 719 East 17th Avenue in 2013, relying on Colorado farmers and ranchers to supply much of the meat and produce on their menu.
