Most of us either love William Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy “Hamlet” or hate it.
L.A. actor Andrew Rally counts himself among the latter. Why ever, then, did he agree to leave Los Angels for the Big Apple and the storied role in New York’s Shakespeare in the Park, especially when he’s insecure about pulling it off?

Kamala Harris forthcoming appearance in American Vogue has sparked criticism for appearing casual and washed out, with the Vice President-elect s team blindsided by the magazine s choice of cover.
The hotly-debated image, which shows Harris in a black jacket and Converse sneakers, was not the one she had expected to run on the front of the print edition. A source familiar with discussions said Harris team believed the cover would feature her posing in a light blue suit against a gold background.
An apparently leaked copy of the publication s February issue cover, shot in front of a pink and green background, began circulating online Sunday. The photo instantly attracted ire on social media for appearing poorly lit and styled, while others suggested it was disrespectful to the Vice President-elect.
For a hundred years, for better or worse, no institution has played a larger role in American culture and politics. And no corporation with comparable clout has been continuously controlled by a single family since 1896.
This month, at 69, Arthur Sulzberger Jr will retire as company chairman, after decades of speculation that he would be the last Sulzberger to run the business.
In 2005, a vicious profile in the New Yorker asked: “Can Arthur Sulzberger Jr save the Times – and himself?” A couple of years later, Vanity Fair declared that he had “steered his inheritance into a ditch”.
As the New Yorker editor, David Remnick, put it to the Guardian this week: “As recently as five years ago, the biggest question was: “Is [Mike] Bloomberg going to own the Times or [Mexican billionaire] Carlos Slim?”
