Although solid-state batteries can pack plenty of energy into a compact space, their electrodes are not that good at making a contact with their electrolytes.

Liquid electrolytes spark energy by reaching all nooks and corners of an electrode, but liquids also tend to take up a lot of space without preserving energy and also fail in due time.
Now, scientists have identified a new way to allow solid electrolytes to make contact with electrodes that are composed of strategically arranged materials at the atomic level and the outcomes are supporting the drive toward more improved solid-state battery technologies.

FARGO Fargo police said on Tuesday, April 20, the investigation into vandalism to a statue of Jesus Christ in front of St. Mary s Cathedral in downtown Fargo was ongoing, but no new details were available.
The vandalism, which occurred sometime early Saturday, April 17, involved black paint being sprayed on the face of the white marble statue.
The paint has since been removed from the statue.
The Jesus statue at St. Mary’s Cathedral that was recently vandalized has now been cleaned on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in downtown Fargo.

FARGO (KFGO) – A Statue of Jesus Christ on the St. Mary’s Cathedral grounds in Downtown Fargo was vandalized over the weekend.
Someone sprayed Black spray paint on the face of the statue. Many people have taken to social media asking for the person to come forward. Diocese of Fargo spokesman Paul Braun says the vandalism occurred sometime late Friday, or early Saturday. Braun says Fargo police are investigating.
