DOVER With sights set on aiding New Hampshire’s foster home children, two self-proclaimed “sneakerheads” from Rye spearheaded a successful shoe drive within their school.
Friends and Wallis Road neighbors since they were 5 years old, St. Thomas Aquinas High School freshmen Jackson Jones and Cade Murphy helped gather gently used shoes of all kinds and sizes to benefit the Pass Along Project, a New Hampshire-based group dedicated to supporting children with essential items as they transition into foster care.
After collecting shoes in Rye and at school the past couple weeks, the duo hoped to see a hefty contribution from their STA peers.
