SHANE LOWRY HIT four back-to-back birdies to stay in the mix at the Saudi International where play was suspended for the day following an earlier two-hour delay due to bad weather.
Lowry, who has one hole remaining in his second round, started the day with a bogey before picking up a string of birdies between the fourth and seventh holes.

ENGLAND’S DAVID HORSEY surprised himself with a brilliant 61 to head a star-studded field after day one of the Saudi International, where the Irish contingent sit well back the leaderboard.
Horsey reached the turn at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in two under par and fired seven birdies in the space of eight holes in a back nine of 28 to finish nine under, a shot ahead of Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher.
JEDDAH: Golf Saudi announced the professional and amateur invitations on Wednesday for the Saudi International, powered by Softbank Investment Advisers, to take place Feb. 4-7 at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City.
Invitees will get the chance to compete alongside a world-class field including world No. 1 and 2020 Masters champion Dustin Johnson, 2020 US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau as well as leading Europeans Tommy Fleetwood, Sergio Garcia, Shane Lowry, Tyrrell Hatton, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood and defending champion Graeme McDowell.
