Officers forced their way inside the Cobridge address and found 59 growing cannabis plants and a further 61 plants which had been harvested.
Illegal immigrant Elton Diva was found hiding in an attic after earlier trying to flee the property by climbing out a window.
Now the 19-year-old has been jailed for 12 months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
