Thirty other NFL teams want to be in the position of the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers one win away from a Super Bowl title and the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Unlike for the Chiefs and Bucs, the biggest obstacle facing many teams in getting to championship contention is at quarterback, a position poised for massive turnover this offseason. For others, it s rebuilding a defense to complement a potent offense. And for an unfortunate few, it s a wholesale talent infusion that s needed to climb back into contention.
Offensive tackle Daryl Williams. The addition of Williams this offseason helped the Bills feel comfortable moving second-year lineman Cody Ford to guard to start the season. Williams has been a rock in his best season since being named second-team All-Pro in 2017. However, with Jon Feliciano and Matt Milano arguably taking precedence over Williams among the Bills free agents, Williams might have played himself into a contract that Buffalo can no longer afford especially with the salary cap projected to shrink and Josh Allen commanding an even larger deal than previously expected. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Dolphins GM Chris Grier publicly committed to Tua Tagovailoa as the 2021 starting quarterback, but head coach Brian Flores was noncommittal when asked if Fitzpatrick would return as a backup, citing the need for a full roster evaluation. Soldiers from the Joint Tactical Ground Station at U.S. Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily, gave more than 50 gifts to the children at the Alba Chiara Orphanage, Dec. 21, as part of an annual detachment toy drive organized by Staff Sgt. Paul Gutierrez and Sgt. Collin Crutchfield.
“I was very humbled by this experience,” Gutierrez said. “The joy and happiness you could see radiating from these children s smiles will forever be imbedded in my mind. Being able to bring what seems like a little Christmas gift to some, ended up meaning so much more to not only the children but the staff of the orphanage and our team here at Alpha Detachment.”

The Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins are among the teams hoping to win their way into the playoffs on the final weekend of the NFL s regular season Sunday. All three enter their games with key players on offense battling injuries.
Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott ran for 105 yards last weekend and is confident he ll be ready to face the New York Giants with the NFC East title still up for grabs. Miami wide receiver DeVante Parker is nursing a hamstring injury with a huge game looming against the Buffalo Bills.
