February 16, 2021 10:11 Kia Australia has launched a new integrated campaign that shows off the automotive brand’s new global visual identity, with the ‘This is Kia’ campaign airing throughout the Australia Open. It was created with full-service agency Innocean Australia (owned by the Hyundai Motor Group), with the hero TVC featuring a Kia Carnival doing laps of the Sydney Motorsport Park in Eastern Creek, challenging perceptions of the car itself and Kia as a family vehicle brand.  Throughout the campaign, Kia features the remainder of its range including the Kia Sorento and the ‘stylish’ Seltos in a spot featuring actor Dacre Montgomery.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) A pair of Harris County Sheriff s Office patrol cruisers were damaged Sunday morning in a crash involving a suspected intoxicated driver, authorities said. It happened before 5:30 a.m. in the 12900 block of Eastex Freeway near Aldine Mail Route Road. Deputies responded to a report of a stranded motorist on the freeway and had blocked off a northbound lane while waiting for a tow truck to arrive, according to Lt. Paul Bruce. While the deputies and the stranded driver waited on the shoulder of the road, a white van crashed into the two patrol cruisers, Bruce said.

Innocean develops TikTok-led campaign for new Kia Stonic January 29, 2021 10:54 Innocean Australia has launched its new campaign for Kia Australia’s small SUV the Kia Stonic, with a TikTok-led approach developed to target a young audience. The bespoke TikTok creative was developed in collaboration with Kia and production studio Scoundrel, and makes Kia the first auto brand to use a TopView TikTok ad in Australia outside a challenge. The Kia Stonic ad is the first thing that TikTok users see when opening the app, before it merges into the first video of their feed. The video showcases the Kia Stonic against an urban background, and uses TikTok-native transitions to pull users in to learn more, all set to Aussie producer Young Franco’s fast-paced track ‘About This Thing’.
