Summer fun is back: Bay Area county fairs, festivals opening gates again

Though growing pains are apparent, local guidelines for large gatherings continue to ease, and some of the popular county fairs and festivals have started unveiling plans for their in-person, virtual and hybrid offerings. After last summer saw the cancellation of most traditional summer outings, it’s about time to get footloose and fancy free.
