Paul O Grady is planning to build a two-storey guest house in the grounds of his Georgian farmhouse in Kent for celebrity friends to stay over.
The TV star, 65, lives alone in his Georgian farmhouse near Ashford, which has been his home for 20 years.
He married husband Andre Portasio, a Brazilian ballet dancer who s 25 years younger than him, in 2017, however reports in November said they still live apart.
Now, he wants to demolish a rundown cottage on his property to make way for the new guest house.
He also wants to convert the loft into a sixth bedroom and add an entrance lobby to create a sense of arrival at the house.

Paul O Grady is planning a raft of changes at his country home in Kent - including a new guest house where his celebrity friends could stay.
The TV star wants to knock down a neglected cottage next to his sprawling property in Aldington, near Ashford, to make room for the new building.

He also hopes to improve his blue-painted Knoll Hill home by converting the loft into a sixth bedroom and adding an entrance lobby to create a sense of arrival at the house.

Mourners gathered on Friday to say a final farewell to Dame Barbara Windsor.
The beloved actress, known for her work in the Carry On films and EastEnders, died in December at the age of 83. She had suffered from dementia.
She was cremated at a private ceremony at Golders Green Crematorium in London with numbers of mourners limited because of coronavirus.
Dame Barbara was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2014.
David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Christopher Biggins and Paul O’Grady were among the mourners seen arriving for the 45-minute service on Friday afternoon. Dame Barbara’s EastEnders co-star, Ross Kemp, who played her on-screen son Grant Mitchell, was also there to pay his respects, as was Loose Women s Jane Moore.
