PALO CEDRO, Calif. - The Palo Cedro Volunteer Fire Station is sending out a call for help. It needs more firefighters, especially as fire season approaches.
Daniel Whitehorn is a volunteer fire captain with the Palo Cedro Volunteer Fire Station. He s been a volunteer firefighter with Station 32 for seven years.
But now there are only five.
“It s not enough to help cover all the apparatus that we have, the engines, and the rescue,” said Whitehorn. “So we re reaching out to our community.”
