Desert Hot Springs High School graduates set to pick-up their cap & gowns, PSUSD graduation schedules released

It s an exciting day for the senior students of Desert Hot Springs High School. Graduates will be heading over the school Thursday afternoon to pick up their caps and gowns.
Desert Hot Springs High School will have an in-person graduation for its students, along with the schools of the Palm Desert Unified School District. After a year of virtual everything for students, they will finally get a chance to be celebrated in-person as their loved ones cheer on.

West valley schools: Black high school, middle school groups unite to reflect, share

Responding to local Black students struggling with the recent violent activities at the U.S. Capitol a few weeks ago, advisors to the district’s Black Student Union and Junior Black Achievers groups brought members and guests together to reflect and share in a virtual platform last week.
“Students were bothered by what they saw,” said Joi Cox, who has been coordinating the work being done across the district to support the students. “We provided a safe place where students can share their feelings.”
Dear Santa: Special needs student surprised with new bike, gifts
News Channel 3 and General Air Conditioning and Plumbing are teaming up with Santa Claus to help deliver gifts this year.

On Tuesday, a bike and some other gifts were delivered to Jessica Briana and her family.
Briana is a special education student at Desert Hot Springs High School. Briana s brother is currently taking care of her and her other siblings.
