Blackberry Smoke + The Allman Betts Band Cancel Maine Show Spirit of the South Tour. The tour will still trek across the country, but it will skip Maine. The  Spirit of the South Tour features Blackberry Smoke, The Allman Betts Band, The Wild Feathers, and Jaimoe. The show was rescheduled to July 23, 2021, at Rock Row, in Westbrook. According to Waterfront Concerts the show is officially canceled. Speculation of the show being scrapped started after Blackberry Smoke removed the Westbrook gig from their website. Throughout promotion of the summer tour, the Maine show has been nowhere to be found on any tour plans.

REI competes with Maine-based L.L. Bean.The store will be 24,000 square feet and will employ about 45 people, the company said in a news release.REI, which is a member-owned co-op, has 10 locations across New England. The closest Maine location is the store in North Conway, New Hampshire.REI has 168 locations in 39 states, according to the company.
