⢠Stephanie Lynnette Franklin, 44, 3442 Rauschenberg Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff s Office with trafficking meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, sale of meth, possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

Douglas Hammontree, age 61, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, December 10, 2020, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 17, 1959 in Dalton, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Hammontree; and grandson, Terry Lamar Gibson.
He was a volunteer fireman for 18 years with the Whitfield County Fire Department.
