BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. The Boulder County Sheriff s Office (BCSO) said they located the dog of missing Boulder hiker, Josh Hall, who went for a hike with his dog near Nederland on Feb. 3 and didn t return, according to the BCSO.
The dog, named Happy, was found Thursday along the Peak to Peak Highway between mile markers 40 and 41.
Hall, 27, was reported missing on Wednesday evening, after he went on a hike from the Hessie Trailhead, where his vehicle was later found.
Rescue crews are still involved in a ground search for the Arvada man after deciding on Monday to suspend the effort on the ground because of heavy winter conditions. Crews said they will continue to search either when new information surfaces or until the snow melts.

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. Search and rescue crews in Boulder County are looking for a 27-year-old Arvada man who was overdue to return from a hiking trip on Wednesday evening.
At about 6:18 p.m. Wednesday, Boulder County Communications Center was notified of the missing man who started hiking that morning at about 9:30 a.m., according to a release from the Boulder County Sheriff s Office (BCSO).
The man, identified as Josh Hall, had departed from the Hessie Trailhead near Nederland, where his vehicle was found, BCSO said.
