Last year, many missed out on opportunities to celebrate their mom on Mother’s Day. This year, however, things are looking up and many are looking to go above and beyond for their mom s who have gone above and beyond this past year.
In Canal Park Friday, families shopped for the occassion.
“We re trying to do more this Mother s Day and make it more meaningful,” Amanda Nichols of Winona said.
At local shops, a number of people bought flowers and treats.
“We have to stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory,” Nona Peterson of St. Cloud said.
