Portland Police Bureau officers say there have been almost 300 shootings so far citywide, with 94 people injured.
Portland Police say two people were shot near the top of Rocky Butte early Tuesday morning, April 13.
Officers received shots fired calls from residents in the Madison South neighborhood around 4:54 a.m. on April 13, and shortly thereafter were informed by a local hospital that two people with gunshot wounds had arrived in a private vehicle. Responding officers determined the call of shots fired was related to the gunshot victims at the hospital, according to a news release. Police also found evidence at the crime scene on Rocky Butte.
