ThedaCare COVID-19 testing sites throughout the Fox Cities and central Wisconsin will close or move indoors over the next week as a winter storm hits the area.  The storm is expected to dump a few inches of snow Thursday along with gusting winds before temperatures plunge into the single digits over the weekend and all of next week.

Glasheen/USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin ThedaCare leaders hosted a conversation with school, business and public health stakeholders, as well as representatives from Ascension Wisconsin s Appleton hospital, on Thursday to discuss the rapid rise of COVID-19 patients in hospitals. NEENAH - ThedaCare will run additional COVID-19 testing sites this week, the health care provider announced Monday. Along with its ongoing testing site at ThedaCare Physicians-Neenah, 333 N. Green Bay Road, which is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, ThedaCare will have sites at: Berlin VFW Post 2925, 420 N. Wisconsin St.: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday

CHURCH leaders in Dumbarton and the Vale have admitted they’re disappointed at being forced to close their doors due to the pandemic – but have acknowledged that it’s a necessary move. The Scottish Government’s announcement last week of stricter limits to control the spread of Covid-19 cases included the closing of all the country’s churches for Congregational worship and prayer until further notice. Some of the country’s religious leaders voiced their anger at the decision, questioning whether an end to socially-distant worship, in compliance with all the rules, would play a significant role in reducing the number of coronavirus cases.
