Milton man arrested for possession of child pornography

May 26, 2021 A 49-year-old Milton man is under arrest on suspicion of 10 counts of possession of child pornography. According to a news release, Milton Police and Wisconsin Department of Justice agents executed a search warrant at a residence on the 700 block of Lamar Street just after 8:30 Wednesday morning. Jason L. Keesey of Milton was taken into custody and transported to the Rock County Jail. The case remains under investigation pending forensic analysis of Keesey’s electronic devices. The case is the result of an investigation by the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Janesville police arrest suspect connected to string of thefts

Sergeant Aaron Dammen said the investigation began when a white Mitsubishi Lancer was stolen last week. The vehicle was spotted several times in Janesville over the days that followed, so the department’s street crimes unit conducted a grid search to locate it on Sunday. 46-year-old Patrick Ryan of Milton was in the process of committing another theft when they found and arrested him with the vehicle in the 2700 block of West Court Street. Officers recovered a large amount of stolen property they believe to be connected to other recent burglaries, and they have been unable to identify the proper owners to return much of it.
