More senseless murders on our ‘Wild West’ streets
Two people shot dead outside the offices of a long-haul bus company. And an innocent bystander fatally wounded as he left a nearby supermarket.

The doctor who treated George Floyd at the Hennepin County Medical Center last May testified Monday that he believed Floyd most likely died of asphyxia.
Dr. Bradford Langenfeld, an emergency medicine physician, said he treated Floyd for about 30 minutes on May 25, 2020, as hospital staff unsuccessfully tried to restart his heart. Langenfeld went through a checklist of possible causes of Floyd s cardiac arrest and said the more likely possibility was hypoxia, or lack of oxygen. Doctor, is there another name for death by oxygen deficiency? prosecuting attorney Jerry Blackwell asked. Asphyxia is a commonly understood term, Langenfeld responded.
The medical testimony comes at the start of the second week of Derek Chauvin s trial as prosecutors began to shift their focus from what happened to Floyd to a closer analysis of what it means legally.
Kesha said, âThe party donât start âtil I walk in,â so naturally, the party didnât start until she brought her energy to the stage for a SPA-hosted virtual concert Friday night.
Coming out of the gates singing âYour Love is My Drug,â Kesha expressed how much she missed performing live for her fans.
âWe all know this past year has sucked ass, more ass than any year Iâve ever lived through,â Kesha said.
After performing âWe R Who We R,â Kesha reminded her fans to âbe [themselves] unapologetically, f -ing always.â
Kesha sang âRaising Hell,â which she said she recorded with the artist Big Freedia after going on a cruise and twerking together, followed by âShadow,â a song off of her latest album âHigh Road.â She said the song was inspired by her motherâs comment about her profanity in her lyrics.
NORTH POWDER â With skiers and snowboarders carving turns in fresh powder, feathery white clouds glittering in their wake, it was almost possible to forget thereâs a pandemic going on.
But though symbols of the viral scourge were evident this season at Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort, the ski area bucked trends that affected other types of businesses by welcoming more visitors than the previous year, rather than fewer, said Anthony Lakes Marketing Director Chelsea Judy.
She didnât have specific numbers.
âWe went into it without any expectations, but I would say it was definitely a successful season,â Judy said on Wednesday, March 31. âPeople were grateful to be able to ski through a pandemic.â
