This is a digest of service calls performed by the Farmington Police Department. Printed records are available in the department’s lobby at 900 N. Municipal Drive.
• Police responded to a report of a vehicle complaint at 12:28 a.m. on the 3000 block of East Main Street. A report was taken.
• Police responded to a report of an accident with no injuries at 3:44 a.m. on the 900 block of East Main Street. A report was taken.
• Police responded to a report of a domestic fight at 3:49 a.m. on the 4200 block of East Main Street. A report was taken.
The Farmington City Council voted unanimously during an April 28 meeting to proceed with the removal of traffic signals at six intersections.
Those six intersections are not in compliance with the 2009 Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices, which are federal standards adopted by the city council.
It is possible the traffic signals could remain if some parameters are met including if the change causes an increase of vehicle crashes in the area.
FARMINGTON The City of Farmington has started the process of removing six sets of traffic signals across the city due to the traffic lights not meeting standards to keep operating.

• Police responded to a report of a domestic fight at 12:53 a.m. on the 2100 block of Meadow Lark Avenue. A report was taken.
• Police responded to a report of a vehicle complaint at 1:55 a.m. on the 700 block of East Main Street. A report was taken.
• Police responded to a report of a battery at 6:06 a.m. on the 600 block of East Apache Street. A report was taken.
Farmington Police Seeking Missing Teenage Girl
According to police, 13 year old Mckenzee Wheeler is 5-foot, 4 inches and she weighs 135 pounds.
She has shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes. McKenzee could be wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a black baseball hat with a purple Dodge emblem. When she was last seen, she was carrying a purple backpack and a skateboard with sunglasses skateboard tape on it.
She was last seen on May 13th and could be in the company of her friends.

Brian Benally, 29, is accused of a third-degree felony count of aggravated assault on a peace officer, a fourth-degree felony count of felon in possession of a firearm and five petty misdemeanor counts of negligent use of a deadly weapon, according to the criminal complaint.
The defendant is listed in critical condition at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.
A review of New Mexico court records show Benally has multiple felony convictions including vehicle theft.
FARMINGTON The man shot by Farmington police on May 10 faces multiple charges for allegedly pointing a handgun at an officer. He is also accused of firing 25 rounds from a .40 caliber pistol while walking in the downtown area before police located him.
