Every ‘new’ year I find myself determined to begin again.to not procrastinate ANYTHING!
This new year many people come to mind, people who have had the courage to start anew. A good friend’s life was in disorder because of his dependency on alcohol. He joined AA and has begun to get the help he has needed.
An older friend was having awful reactions to the three medicines she was taking. Her doctor cut back on two for a month or two hoping it might help and got her started on a unique exercise program. Thankfully it worked.
Winthrop’s downtown thriving with new shops, growing businesses during pandemic

WINTHROP Downtown Winthrop was a destination for shoppers on Saturday, showcasing a community’s commitment to buying local that downtown shop owners said has allowed them to flourish through the pandemic.
The Art Walk Shop & Studio, owned by 19-year-old Winslow potter Nick Shelton, celebrated its grand opening as dozens of shoppers stopped into a number of businesses on Main Street. Owners of downtown businesses have reported strong support during the pandemic, even as some sections of the country and state struggle.
