CLEARWATER â The Beach Boys recently announced special guest John Stamos will join the band for their upcoming performances at Ruth Eckerd Hall.
The band that birthed a torrent of hit singles that forever changed the musical landscape will perform Sunday, May 16, 5 and 8 p.m., at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater. Both shows will be presented at 50% capacity. Tickets start at $53.25. Visit www.RuthEckerdHall.com.
The shows will feature a mix of Beach Boysâ classics as well as new material including co-founder Mike Loveâs latest single âThis Too Shall Pass,â which he released at the start of the pandemic via BMG to encourage positivity during this unprecedented time. All artist and label royalties from âThis Too Shall Passâ go to Feeding America s COVID-19 Response Fund to help food banks across the country as they support communities impacted by the pandemic.

One early spring day in 1962, Jan and I were driving to the beach in my newly custom-painted, fuel-injected Corvette.
I had spent months hand-sanding the fiberglass. I had taken off all the chrome. The guy from the Japanese body shop I frequented painted the car with twenty coats of Chinese red lacquer.
The indent on the side of the car that was normally painted white at the factory, I had painted jet black. I removed the fake knock-off hubcaps, painted the rims jet black, and put on small, button Chevy hubcaps.
For Christmas, my now girlfriend Judy had bought me a beautiful handcrafted wooden Nardi steering wheel made in Italy, and she had my name engraved on one of the polished aluminum spokes.

When I turned the page one day, Barbara recited words they didn’t match with the text. The pages had stuck together. Barbara was reciting words that should have been on a skipped page. When I opened a page randomly, she couldn’t read. She had memorised the entire book and all this time had pretended to read.
Lobster industry veteran Annie Tselikis joins Cousins Maine Lobster

Cousins Maine Lobster (CML) announced on Thursday, 29 April that it is bringing Maine Lobster Dealers Association (MLDA) Executive Director Annie Tselikis on board as its newest hire.
The appointment will help deepen the nine-year-old company’s “connection to the industry in Maine,” it said in a press release. Tselikis, a 15-year Maine lobster industry veteran, will take on a newly-created role focusing on marketing, education, and franchisee engagement for CML.
Alongside her new role with CML, Tselikis will continue her work as executive director for MLDA, a position she has held since 2014, she confirmed to SeafoodSource. Most recently, Tselikis and MLDA members launched a 10-week workforce training program to recruit people into lobster supply chain jobs in Maine. Her career so far has seen Tselikis deeply involved in marketing Maine lobster, industry advocacy, government affairs, and econ
