Notices from Barnet Council in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times detail the closures that will affect Queens Parade Close and Cheviot Gardens. Queens Parade Close is due to be shut to traffic at its junction with Hollyfield Avenue, while the one-way system in Queens Parade Close, between Colney Hatch Lane and Hollyfield Avenue, will also be suspended while a new electricity connection is installed.

Voters will go to the polls on Thursday, May 6 to elect a successor to long-serving Tory councillor Brian Gordon, who died in September last year.
