New Rotunda unit to double availability of gynaecology appointments
60 per cent increase in number of fertility consultations also expected
A new state-of-the-art gynaecology unit at Dublin’s Rotunda Hospital aims to make significant reductions in waiting times, the hospital’s Master said today.
Funded under the National Woman and Infants Health programme, Rotunda Gynaecology will double capacity for patients waiting for ultrasound appointments, anaesthetic consultations, and ambulatory gynaecology procedures.
