PARKERSBURG There’s only one item on the agenda for Tuesday’s Parkersburg City Council meeting a resolution making budget revisions for the purchase of two vehicles.
Council is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in its chambers on the second floor of the Municipal Building. Masks or face coverings are required, and social distancing measures will be observed.
If approved, the resolution would allocate $36,351 from the sale of a totaled vehicle, plus $5,000 from the unencumbered balance of the capital reserve fund to buy a new truck. Another $11,500 from the unencumbered balance would be added to approximately $7,000 to purchase an emergency equipped pickup truck for the Fire Department.
