Lander latest to return to Hoosiers DYLAN SINN | The Journal Gazette Indiana guard Khristian Lander, a five-star recruit in the 2021 class out of Evansville who re-classified to 2020 and played for the Hoosiers this season, has pulled his name out of the transfer portal and plans to play for IU next season, he announced this afternoon. I want to be one of the reasons Indiana basketball gets back to being great again, Lander said in a statement posted on social media. And really, it’s not just any ol’ assistant coach. It’s Dane Fife, the former Hoosier guard and longtime Michigan State assistant, who was officially announced as Woodson’s second hire on Monday afternoon. Fife’s appointment comes less than a week after Kenya Hunter, a holdover from Archie Miller’s last staff at IU, decided to stick with Woodson.

That decision was less surprising, since Duncomb had said he thought Woodson was an awesome hire when it was announced.
