In the new season of ‘Girls Hostel 2.0’, the medical versus dental wars continue between the girls. Jo (Srishti Shrivastava) and Zahira (Parul Gulati) still do not see eye-to-eye, while Richa (Ahsaas Channa) is still working on her equation with Aarav (Gagan Arora). The dental girls have been moved to a newer, smaller hostel where they’re facing a water crisis and other problems. This new season, unlike the first, focuses on more mature topics such as college politics, elections, eve-teasing and more.
Title: I Care A Lot

A diabolic ruthless power scam that gets the viewers thoroughly hooked from the beginning to the end. Starring Rosamund Pike in a killer bob and smart suits, and the ever-so-efficient Peter Dinklage of Game of Thrones fame, this revolves around the story of a professional legal guardian of aging adults who discovers that her seemingly perfect clients are not who they appear to be. This intricately weaved scam thriller is riveting more so as the lead actors have performed impeccably well. Cleverly written, director J Blakesonâs scam-thriller is indeed outstanding!

TVF s revisit of Girls Hostel makes for easy binge-watching. The show mostly works for its right balance of humour and drama, and it puts across a few pertinent points about hostel life of girls with all its warts, and without getting too heavy about it. With a five-episode runtime, this is the sort of show which doesn t outlast your interest span. You can wrap it up in one go.
