Author: Joe Nelson/Bring Me The News A man has been arrested after multiple shots were fired at a home just outside of Faribault Monday evening. The incident happened just before 11 p.m., with a resident reporting someone shot at his house on the 3000 block of Cedar Lake Boulevard in Wells Township. The homeowner told police he d heard gunshots, and then observed bullet holes in his property. He gave the description of the suspect as driving a white Dodge Dakota truck. A short time later, a Faribault police officer found a vehicle matching the description, with a man taken into custody a short time later.

Faribault Woman Identified in Weekend Fatal Accident

Faribault Woman Identified in Weekend Fatal Accident Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn updated information concerning a fatal accident that happened in the county on Saturday.  The accident happened at 12:46 p.m. Saturday in the 22000 Block of Albers Avenue in Walcott Township. Diane M. Kading, 64, of Faribault was located under the vehicle and deceased after Rice County Deputies were dispatched to the one vehicle rollover. The News Release states the, Vehicle had left the roadway, hit a field ditch, and rolled causing the victim to be ejected.  The victim was not wearing a seatbelt.  Road conditions were slippery at the time of the crash.
