4 staffers sustain burn injuries in gas blast at Narayanganj restaurant Star Online Report Star Online Report Four staffers of a restaurant in Narayanganj s Araihajar upazila today sustained burn injuries in an explosion resulting from gas trapped inside the eatery. The incident took place around 3:15pm this afternoon at Royal Restaurant s kitchen on the fourth floor of Dubai Plaza in the upazila, reports our Narayanganj correspondent quoting Md Shahjahan Hossain, in-charge of Araihajar Fire Service Station. The injured are Russell Haque (18), Shamsul Haque (21) and Farid Ali (44) of the upazila, and Al Amin (20) of Sylhet. Two firefighting units went to the spot, doused the blaze and rescued the four restaurant staffers. They were immediately taken to the upazila health complex and later three of them were sent to Dhaka in critical condition, Shahjahan said.
