A man accused of stabbing to death his estranged wife after driving to her home in California from Washington state was arrested on Thursday night after a standoff with police.
Officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff s Department named James Dorsey as the suspect in custody. He allegedly fatally stabbed his wife, 39, who has not been named, while the three children were inside her Santa Clarita home at around 5 a.m. PDT on Thursday.
Police said the 41-year-old lived in Washington state and drove to California on Wednesday.
