Two Toronto men have been charged with importing drugs from Italy to Canada after U.S. authorities caught a package of pills at the Canada-U.S. border.
Officers with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police executed a search warrant and arrested two men last week, charging them with various charges of importation, trafficking and possession in connection with MDMA, also known as ecstasy or molly; one of them was also charged with resisting police.

Two Canadian residents arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport, travelling with two children no less, received a not-so-welcome greeting this month when customs officers checking their luggage found a whole lot of drugs.
On Feb. 7, the two adults and their two children, aged 10 and 12, arrived at the airport on a flight from Montego Bay in Jamaica. While examining their luggage, officers with Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) found more than $1.6 million worth of cocaine, cannabis and hashish.
