THE family of a young man who disappeared after a night out with friends are praying that a car found in a harbour will help solve the 17-year mystery surrounding his disappearance.
Crosshaven native Barry Coughlan, 23, was drinking with pals in the former Moonduster pub in his Co Cork hometown before leaving in the early hours of May 1, 2004 and has never been seen since.

SKELETAL REMAINS HAVE been found in a car taken out of the water at a pier in Co Cork.
Gardaí discovered the remains during a technical examination of the car, which was found off Hugh Coveney Pier in Crosshaven by divers on Wednesday.
The Garda Water Unit searched the area and extracted the car from the water yesterday.
