People in Ingleton will pay the highest council tax in Craven HOUSEHOLDERS in Craven will pay about £60 per year more in council tax in the coming year, with people in Ingleton paying the highest at £2,050. Craven District Council - in possibly its last budget setting - agreed an increase of £5 per year to its part of the tax from April. It means, together with increases made by other authorities, that the average, Band D , householder will pay a total of around £2,002, about £60 more than the around£1,942 for the current financial year. Amounts will vary as not all parish and town councils charge the same.
