As part of activities to introduce and familiarize himself in the region as Bono East Regional Minister, Hon Kwasi Adu-Gyan, on Friday, 9th April, 2021, paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of Techiman Traditional Council who doubles as the Council of State Member for the Bono East Region, H. E. Oseadeyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV at his palace.
Oseadeyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV and his elders took turns to welcome, advise, suggest, and praise the Minister for his visit and the vision he intends to accomplish and also assured him of their full support to succeed.
The President of the traditional council, Oseadeyo, appealed to the Minister to solicit for the establishment of a High Court in the region and also help in solving the numerous chieftaincy issues which is preventing most of the Traditional Councils in the region from functioning. According to Nana, only 5 out of the 19 traditional councils in the region are effectively working due to the unresolved disputes.

The family of the late Prince Emmanuel Yao Boateng has issued a 14 -day ultimatum to the New Juaben Traditional Council to replace the statue which was mounted for him or face them in court.
The family says the demolition of the statue was illegal and will therefore use all legitimate processes to seek redress.
The New Juaben traditional Council on March 5,2021 pulled down the statue of the late Prince Emmanuel Yao Boateng erected in popular area in Koforidua called Prince Boateng roundabout named after the late Prince(Oheneba) .
Tain DCE pays courtesy call on Nsawkaw Traditional Council

The District Chief Executive for Tain, Madam Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh has paid a courtesy call on Chiefs of Nsawkaw Traditional Council where she thanked them for their support, prayers, and collaboration throughout her four-year term in office as the District Chief Executive.
The visit which would be replicated in all the other Traditional Councils in the district was to enable the Chief Executive to account her stewardship to the chiefs since assuming office in 2017.
In addressing the chiefs, the DCE said the objective of the visit was to bring to light projects implemented by the government and the Assembly in the Nsawkaw Zone.
