NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 24, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) reported fourth quarter 2020 earnings per share of $1.93 on an as-reported basis and 71 cents on an adjusted basis (non-GAAP). For the full year, the company reported 2020 earnings per share of $6.90 on an as-reported basis and $5.66 on an adjusted basis. We are reporting strong results for another very successful year. Solar Project Approved in Schoharie County
The New York State Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment granted approval to East Point Energy Center, LLC to build and operate a 50 megawatt solar farm in the Town of Sharon in Schoharie County. According to the Times Journal the NextEra project was first proposed 3 years ago and is the first solar project approved under Article 10, which removes large-scale solar from local review and instead puts it in the hands of the state.

ALBANY Solar farms proposed for southern Albany County and northern Schoharie County got the go-ahead from the state Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment Thursday.
Hecate Energy Albany 1 and Hecate Energy Albany 2 want to construct and operate a 40 megawatt facility between Route 9W and County Route 101 in Coeymans on a portion of about 436 acres of privately leased farmland, according to a statement from the siting board . It will include arrays of ground-mounted photovoltaic solar panels.

COEYMANS Proposed solar farms in Coeymans, Albany County and in Sharon, Schoharie County cleared their last major regulatory hurdles on Thursday when the state’s Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment lent their approval after determining they would not harm the environment.
The Coeymans project is proposed by Hecate Energy, which wants to build and operate a 40-megawatt solar farm there.
The facility will be located between State Route 9W and County Route 101 on part of a 436-acre tract of privately leased farmland.
