Kaohsiung, Taipei to host Lantern Festival in 2022, 2023

Taipei, Jan. 14 (CNA) Kaohsiung and Taipei are scheduled to host the official Taiwan Lantern Festival in 2022 and in 2023, respectively, the Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications announced Thursday.
This year s main exhibition will take place in Hsinchu.
For the 2022 festival in Kaohsiung, the main lantern exhibition is slated to take place at the Asia New Bay Area, a waterfront district that the city government aims to turn into a base for the world s emerging technologies, the bureau said in a statement.
