Scammers are using people s desperation for COVID-19 vaccines in the midst of a pandemic as a bargaining chip to steal money and personal information.  Though it doesn t appear to be a widespread problem in Michigan, the state Attorney General s Office told the Free Press on Thursday that it has gotten one report of a fraudster offering a coronavirus vaccine in exchange for money.  I hope that can be seen as a good sign that people are contacting the proper sources for the vaccine and being cautious about who they provide their personal information to, said Ryan Jarvi, a spokesperson for Attorney General Dana Nessel.
