Respecting lockdowns, writers claim that proof, even peer-reviewed proof, exists for their hypothesis, but do not give any clue as to where such proof may be found.
On the contrary, ample evidence of successful lockdowns may be found by looking at the countries that were most successful in controlling the pandemic New Zealand, Iceland, Taiwan, and China. These and others brought case numbers down dramatically with early and severe lockdowns; some then relaxed the restrictions too soon.
