The stimulus bill package, passed by Congress last week, is supposed to aid American business and American individuals who have been subjected to the negative side effects of what a pandemic of COVID-19 can bring for almost a year.
In the 5,000-page bill, the aid includes billions of dollars to Cambodia, Burma, Egypt, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Pakistan, whereas most Americans would get $600.
This bill could have been on one single piece of paper and describe in detail how it would help the American public.
What we got instead was nine months too late and 4,999 too many pages on how Congress wants to help the world first, before we take care of our own citizens.
