Montville Started two years ago, the Montville Farmers Market was absent last year due to the coronavirus pandemic but made a fresh return Tuesday at Camp Oakdale, with a variety of new vendors and an ice cream truck.
Kate Southard, the parks and recreation commission chairperson, said the market was moved from Town Hall to the park at 140 Meeting House Lane, which offers more space, parking, cover from rain and the ability to have live music.
Kelley Obre and her husband, Mike, are part of the farmers market commission and spearheaded organizing the event, which runs 4-7 p.m. every Tuesday from July to October.
