Tourism season is rapidly approaching â and local officials want visitors to be greeted with the most beautiful version of Pulaski County they could possibly see.
An entire week of spring clean-up activities for the countyâs roadways and shoreline is coming up this month, April 19-24, and as Tammie Nazario, President and CEO of environmental group Eastern Kentucky PRIDE put it, itâs unlike anything the area has ever seen before.

Bobby Clue, executive director, Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce, during his annual Year In Review Address Tuesday said 2020 has been a year unlike any other. Clue s remarks were made to a pandemic-restricted audience at The Center for Rural Development, broadcast on a local radio station and live on the chamber s Facebook page. COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically impacted our business community, and we are all working hard to recover.
The chamber has fielded thousands of calls and emails from our business community asking for help, Clue revealed. Our organization has continued to evolve and grow with the generous support of our communities, sponsors, members and volunteers, he said.
