Grace Jones Meltdown Festival Rescheduled For Second Time To 2022 Due To COVID-19 Friday, 09 April 2021 Grace Jones Meltdown festival has been rearranged for a second time due to COVID-19. The event was originally set to take over London s Southbank Centre in June 2020 before being pushed back to 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic. However, it will now take place in June 2022 following the government s roadmap announcement on when large live events are allowed to return. A post on social media from organisers reads: So, a lot of you have been asking what s happening with this year s Meltdown Festival. We can now confirm that Grace Jones’ Meltdown is to move to 2022. The move follows government advice that social distancing will continue until at least 21 June 2021.
