Riverboats return to the Mississippi River

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Riverboats are returning to the Heartland in April.
They will be docking in both Cape Girardeau and Paducah.
With five boats docking in downtown Cape Girardeau from April through mid-December, local merchants hope to see a boost in area tourism.
“The best thing about our location is we are the first business that gets to welcome the tourists coming off the boats.”
Stephanie Gardiner opened Bon Bon’s Restaurant last December and said she’s excited more tourists will be coming back to the area.

In 2015 Jordaan, out of necessity, established what would become her labour of love. As a Muslim, she had limited libations to enjoy. It s haram (forbidden) for her to consume alcohol, but she still wanted to have exciting concoctions to quench her thirst.

Reader’s Digest, one Massachusetts restaurant stands out as particularly dreamy: Harvest in Cambridge.
“They have a back patio decorated with string lights, overhead heaters, and a gas fireplace,” the publication described. “There’s also an open-air dining room, which is weather permitting. Dine on seasonal food including lobster, oysters, berries, and exotic cheeses.” Advertisement
