In December, the Swamp Rabbits hockey team started a new season at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
In January, the arena presented a professional bull riding event, followed by its first concert of the season in late February, and in early March hosted the 2021 Southeastern Conference Women s Basketball Championship.
The hockey season will run through June.
“The team is doing very well on the ice, and it s a great night out for the family. We were just excited to be able to reopen for the start of the season,” says Beth Paul, general manager of the arena since 2015.
