Former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram has said that the ongoing conflict between Palestine and Israel is more than just a game.
The legendary cricketer, in a tweet, said that âeveryone has already lostâ due to the violence in the region.
It doesnât matter what side youâre on, or which team you support, this is not a game, itâs War and at the end of the day when there has been death and suffering there will never be a winner, everyone has already lost! #IStandWithPalestine #IStandForHumanityâ Wasim Akram (@wasimakramlive) May 19, 2021

Singer Ali Zafar threw a lavish birthday party for his family and friends in which the breach of safety guidelines against the coronavirus was seen.
The images of the birthday bash made rounds in which the party-goers were seen without masks and not maintaining social distancing.
Social media users criticised the function for not following the coronavirus SOPs.

Lack of social distancing and disregard for COVID-19 guidelines led to a massive surge in India. Will we learn from their mistakes?
Sarwat Gilani with Sheheryar Munawer at a qawalli night the former hosted for her husband’s fortieth birthday; there’s not a mask in sight.
With over 800,000 total cases and nearly 20,000 coronavirus related deaths on its hands, Pakistan should be on best behaviour right now. Health experts, government officials and journalists all seem to be warning of an ‘impending doom’ (actual headline in the
BBC), taking cue from the horrifying outcome in a country not too far from us, India, where the sight of thousands of burning pyres has sent shivers down everyone’s spine.
Covid Bash
We all know about the hubbub following Sarwat Gilani’s husband, cosmetic surgeon Fahad Mirza’s 40th birthday party, where a host of celebs got together cheek by jowl. This was preceded by the usual social media sermonising to follow the SOPs to avoid the hazards of the pandemic from at least two of them actors Mansha Pasha and Sheheryar Munawar who were then seen at the bash, contrary to their concern for the disease. Good for Sheheryar M that he didn’t take much to time to realise his mistake, and apologised by saying there was no justification for his actions, “taking the mask off” to strike a pose. He also thanked his admirers for keeping his “moral compass in check”. Mansha P, your turn.

Actor Ayesha Omar is not happy with students who are using inappropriate language for Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on social media.
âDear students, criticism and difference of opinion does not mean one needs to be disrespectful,â she tweeted. âWe can get our point across with respect.â
Dear Students.
Criticism and difference of opinion does NOT mean one needs to be disrespectful. We can get our point across with respect. Letâs try to regulate and stabilise our emotions in stressful situations. Itâs better for us and others. Positive manifestations also help.
