How much do I need to spend?
There’s a head torch for every budget. If you just want one for nighttime dog walks, a reasonably cheap and straightforward model will suit you fine.
However, if you need a head torch for an activity where a reliable source of light could be a lifesaver, such as night running or hiking, we’d recommend picking one as expensive as you can afford – and, ideally, one that lets you buy spare, high-quality rechargeable batteries so you always have a backup close to hand, or that you can charge via USB.

That last 12 months have been incredibly hard on so many Maine families. And sure, there are a multitude of reasons that I could list off about the pandemic that have made the last year so hard. Masking, distancing, job loss, business closures.. you name it, it s probably on the list.
However, the biggest thing that most of us are missing out on and yearning for is, simply put, time together. Not just our extended family but our friends, too. We haven t been able to have large gatherings, go on trips or hug anyone over 65. That s why this year s camping season is so important. Sure, we had a camping season last year, but even that was different.

Pocket Outdoor Media the Boulder magazine publisher that specializes in active lifestyle content and experiences, has purchased Outside Integrated Media, the publisher of the iconic bible of the outdoor world, Outside magazine.
In addition to the magazine title, Pocket also is adding numerous other publications, travel businesses, television programming and more business channels in the outdoor sector. As a result, Pocket will change its name to Outside Inc.
