Line Of Duty creator Jed Mercurio reveals series six STILL isn t finished

Line Of Duty creator Jed Mercurio has revealed the hotly-anticipated sixth series of the police drama isn t finished yet - five days before the show begins on BBC One. Speaking to Nihal Arthanayke on BBC Radio 5 Live, Jed, 55, said he and the team had delivered the first few episodes of the drama with the rest still in post-production - and had even shot extra scenes for the ending in recent weeks. The first episode of the drama s new series- depicting Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar as AC-12 officers rooting out bent coppers -  will begin airing on Sunday, March 21.
